THE ARRIVAL
Description
YEAR 2025
TYPE OF WORK DOCUMENTAL
One day I came across a scene that caught my attention: a group of people staring upward, silently, as if they were waiting for something. In reality, they were watching a projection—but I chose not to show what they were seeing.
I was more interested in what could be imagined from their expressions. Without context, the moment becomes ambiguous. It looks like they’re witnessing something significant—maybe the arrival of someone or something from elsewhere.
This project starts with a real moment, but plays with the idea of another possible reading. I like how a single image can suggest a story, even when it doesn’t show everything.
